About us

The Whole Truth (TWT) is written by Oni Oluwamuyiwa, a young Nigerian graduate from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Nigeria from the department of English and Literary Studies. I am presently pursuing a degree in creative writing and also in photo journalism.  Besides writing i take a huge Iinterest in spoken word And other areas of developing myself.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO
A couple of years back I wouldn't have ever thought I would own a blog and writing eeeesh!!! That wasn't my strength, actually nothing was back in the day. I would spare you the details about what changed my mind and probably just write about it in one of my works.
TWT is a medium where I can express the little issues that am concerned and also passionate about. My major driving force is God and a scripture found in Isaiah61.
In every story there are always three sides, "your" side, "my" side and then the truth. Hopefully I intend to only tell the version of the truth regardless of how it sounds Of which I'm aware would appear controversial to some persons but thats very much welcomed.

PERSPECTIVE OF THE BLOG
Let me say that this is not an entertainment or gossip blog in any form. In this blog you will find relative topics on abuse in all shades of it, physically, morally, psychologically and the likes. There would also be light hearted and hopefully well educated topics and featured guest as much as possible . Well personally I intend the blog to be a massive movement against abuse and open doors for counseling first in Nigeria and other parts of Africa and the world definately. Every day issues will also be found covering the spheres of daily living.
Sigh! I think I should say that you will not always, rather mostly wouldn't agree with what I write about, but hopefully we can make the world a better place and set as many that are "confused" in the right direction free and free indeed. I am not a feminist writer, i get to be asked this question quite a number of time. Are you a feminist? Am quick to respond though. I just feel the girl child gets more exposed to life sometimes too early and she needs to be protected. That's not to say they are more important, no! This is no gender relative class difference. Now that you've read all that boring talk, I woud like to hear from you. Thank you.
